Hello and welcome back crafty friends! Today, I’m hosting the first ever Penguin Palace Challenge over at the Penguin Palace Challenge Blog! I created two cards for the challenge; today I’m sharing the first, but I’ll have a write up for the second one tomorrow.

For today’s card, I used the new Spring Blooms Stencils 360°™ and distress oxide inks that match this month’s color palette (Milled Lavender, Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar).

Once the blending was complete, I cut it into a rectangle using one of the dies from the Cinematic Shadow Box Stand Alone Die, and stamped a sentiment from the My BFF stamp set on a die cut circle (it was actually one of the centers I had lying around from a previously cut Lawn Fawn Magic Iris) which was adhered to the center. I mounted the panel on a 6 3/8″ x 3 5/8″ card base and added a few pearl embellishments to finish off the card!

Everyone is welcome to join in the Penguin Palace monthly challenges—and there’s a chance to win a $25 gift card to the ppstamps.com shop! All you have to do is create a project inspired by the graphic (color palette) using at least one Penguin Palace product as your focal point and add your project to the blog using the link tool! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!
