Hello and welcome back crafty friends! Today I am sharing the card I created for the Create A Smile Sketch Challenge!
I started by ink blending some distress oxide inks over the Create A Smile (CAS) Bubble Circle stencil. I used Twisted Citron (with a little bit of Mowed Lawn), Tumbled Glass, and Broken China. Once this was done I cut out the section I liked most using a 3.75” Hero Arts Nested Circle die. I cut another circle (2.75” diameter) from 110 lb white cardstock using the same die set. On this circle I stamped my scene in Gina K Designs obsidian black amalgam ink using the CAS Scene Builders stamp. I started by stamping and masking off the house, then I stamped the bushes, grass, tree, and cloud. Once this was done I Copic colored the scene using the colors below.

- Grass and trees—G09, YG09, YG07, YG05, YG01
- Tree branches—E27, E39, E37
- House—W3, W1, W0; windows: BG000, BG0000; door: W9, W7
- Cloud—C0, C00
- Sky—BG45, BG01, BG000

I cut two extra circles using my dies (one in each size) from 110 lb paper and glued them behind my stenciled and Copic colored pieces to add some extra dimension. I adhered the smaller circle on the larger one, and then adhered the larger circle to the top-folding A2 card base. I used my Tim Holtz trimmer to cut off the over-hang. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the CAS Eggstraordinary Egghunt stamp set on black paper and cut it out with a HoneyBee Stamps Sentiment Banners die. Of course, I finished the card off by adding some little sequins from my stash!

Everyone is welcome to join in our biweekly challenges—and there’s a chance to win a 25€ giftcard to the CAS shop! All you have to do is create a project inspired by the graphic using at least one Create A Smile product as your focal point and add your project to the blog using the link tool!
